FAQ – Vapejoose Premium E-Liquids and Vape Supplies


Why haven’t I received my order yet?
Because we handcraft our Joose just for you, it normally takes up to 3 business days to process your order. If your order is placed on Friday, for example, you can expect it to be made and shipped by Wednesday the following week.  If it has been more than 3 business days and you have not received a shipping notification, our support team will be happy to help!  
Please note that the 1-3 day processing time does not include shipping. Once it leaves our facility we have no control over when it will be delivered, however estimated shipping times will be given at checkout. If you have not received your package within the estimated shipping time, please contact the carrier for support.
What’s VG?  PG?  Nicotine levels?  Which should I choose?
While we have a great blog post about our ingredients, the basics are that PG carries flavor and throat hit, while VG is thick, slightly sweet, and creates more vapor.  Nicotine levels are measured in mg/mL (milligrams per milliliter), which is roughly equivalent to a tenth of a percent (ex. 2.4% = 24mg/mL).
We recommend 30% VG for most starter kits, and 50% VG for most tanks on variable voltage and variable wattage devices.  70% VG works well in subohm tanks and drippers, while MAX VG is recommended for drippers only.  Please note that our MAX is not 100% VG, as our flavorings are PG based.
While nicotine levels are largely personal preference, we suggest starting at 12 or 18 mg/mL for starter kits and most tanks.  For subohm tanks and RDAs, most users prefer 3 or 6 mg/mL.
Why are your prices so low?

Vapejoose was founded on the idea that you shouldn't have to overpay for a good vape.  Our staff is dedicated to bringing you great Joose at great prices, and we back that up with a quality guarantee!

What ingredients do you use?
This blog post contains an in-depth description of our ingredients, but the simple answer is:
USP certified PG
USP certified VG
USP certified, GC/MS verified nicotine
FDA food grade certified flavorings
With the exception of some flavors made in Italy, our ingredients are all manufactured in the US.

What should I do if I spill Joose on my skin?
If you spill e-liquid on your skin, immediately wash the affected area with soap and water.  Afterwards, drink some water and have a light snack (crackers are great for this!).  While nicotine does not cause long-term damage, you should contact a poison control center or physician if you begin to feel ill.

What are your business hours?
9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday with the exception of holidays.
Where are you located?
Our office and manufacturing laboratory are located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
My bottle broke in the mail, what should I do?
Safety first!  Put on some gloves and remove any undamaged product from your package.  Be sure to wipe it down to remove any broken glass or spilled e-liquid.  Wash any skin that comes in  contact with e-liquid.
When you’ve salvaged any undamaged bottles, take a picture of the damaged product and open a support ticket.  We apologize for the inconvenience, and would be happy to help you replace your damaged bottles.
What’s the shelf life of my Joose?
It varies based on flavor, nicotine level and storage conditions, but we recommend you dispose of any Joose older than six months.
What is steeping?  Is it necessary?
Steeping is a process in which you give your Joose time to fully develop its flavor.  While there are many quick steeping methods such as a warm water bath or ultrasonic cleaner, we recommend storing your Joose in a cool dark place.  While steeping isn’t necessary, most vapers feel a flavor will improve with time.  How much time depends on the flavor and personal preference, so be sure to try your Joose every few days to find your sweet spot!
There is also a technique known as breathing, which can help eliminate “chemical” or “perfumey” tastes.  Simply leave your Joose out for several hours with the cap off.  Some flavors contain alcohol, which can cause off flavors in fresh Joose.
Do you ship internationally?
We do!  Simply choose our international shipping option at checkout.  If you have an APO address, select the APO option instead for domestic shipping rates.
Am I allergic to e-liquid?
While Vapejoose does not use flavorings that contain food allergens, some people experience what is known as PG sensitivity.  Some users report dryness and irritation of the throat, eye irritation, or even breakouts.
First make sure you are drinking enough water, as vaping will cause minor dehydration.  Clean your drip tip, replace your wick and coil, and clean out your atomizer or tank.  Poorly maintained equipment can build up unwanted substances that cause irritation.
If you are well hydrated and using clean equipment but still experience these symptoms, you may have what is known as PG sensitivity.  While all our of products contain some amount of PG, switching to a higher VG level may help reduce or eliminate these issues.  If your symptoms are extreme or you are worried about your health, talk to a health professional before you continue vaping.
